Gulf Shores!

We were so excited to finally arrive in Gulf Shores!  There were 22 people total, so we rented 2 houses.  The house we actually stayed in is the pink one.  That's one of Dylan's favorite things to tell people about our vacation!  I loved all the colorful beach houses.  :)  My  favorite was the turquoise one.
Waving from the balcony!
The first day there was a lot of rain.  That my sweet little Dylan walking from one house to the other in the rain all by himself.  (He was really proud of himself!)

The kids anxiously waiting to go the beach for the first time.

The beach!  I think they were in awe.
Dylan LOVED the water right away.  Jackson was a little more hesitant, but eventually warmed up to it.  Everyday he was a little nervous at first, but he slowly worked his courage up.
Red Sky at Night...Sailor's Delight!  We were hoping for sunny skies the next day and we got them!
There was a little pond behind our house that we went fishing in.  Mark (Scott's cousin) caught a snapping turtle!  Uncle Joe was very brave and picked the turtle up.  I think it's safe to say he was not a happy turtle...

Dylan and Elena were catching minnows and fish.  Everyone enjoyed hanging out by the pond.

Remember Crazy Cousin Mark that caught a snapping turtle?  He caught snakes too.  We all watched him catch a small colorful one, that he thought was probably poisonous.

Jackson and Isabella thought their dad was cool for catching that snake!
 Pretty things around our house.

An evening walk on the beach.  We found a big sand shark and a big sand fort thingy.  I wish I could say I was that creative.  They were so cool.

Group shots on beach at sunset.

How cute is this?  Walking home from the beach.
