Birthday, School and Sports Pictures!

Every 4 year old wears their Mickey Mouse Crown for their birthday pictures, right?  I couldn't tell him that he wasn't allowed to wear the crown...it fits his personality completely.  Plus, he sure is cute in the crown.  :)
My sweet little Jackson, looking so grown up.
Trevor is 6 months old already!  I can't believe it!

Dylan's 1st grade picture and Jackson's Preschool picture.
Jackson was so shy on picture day for his soccer team.  He's been so shy with everything soccer this year, so the pictures actually describe the season pretty well!  He's in the back row, far right on the team picture.  These pictures crack me up!

Pumpkin Carving

The boys had fun carving pumpkins this year.  Dylan and Jackson enjoyed getting out all the pumpkin goo.  I was just glad I didn't have to do all the work!  Dylan was showing me the scary face he wanted going to carve on the pumpkin.
Trevor was trying to figure out what all the fuss was about.

He finally decided the pumpkin would make a good drum.  :)
Dylan was so excited that he got to use the carving knife all by himself this year.  He did a fabulous job with it too.  He was so proud of himself, as he should be.  ;)
I tried to get a cute picture of the boys, but somebody was done with pictures...
Here's the final products.  Trevor was more into removing the lid off the pumpkins than laughing at his silly dad for the picture...
But I did get one shot where they are all at least looking towards the camera.  Too bad Jackson's hands are covering up the pumpkins!

Bird Sanctuary and Lone Elk Park

Dylan was off school for parent teacher conferences, so I took off work to spend some time with the boys.  It worked out perfectly because Jackson had a field trip that we were able to attend!  They have been studying owls, so we went to the World Bird Sanctuary.  I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was actually pretty neat.  I'm looking forward to going back...when it's a bit warmer out!
The size of an eagle's nest...holy moly!
Some cute little owls.
The boys were able to touch a snake while we were there....yuck.  But, they both think it's cool.  My cute little dodo birds.  :)
Jackson's a bad eagle!
The Bird Sanctuary is right next to Lone Elk Park, so when the field trip was over, we drove through the park to see what we could find.  There were some big animals...and they were right next to our car!  I was nervous to roll the window down to take a picture!
I thought the trees were really pretty with the sun hitting them, so I was pretending to be a photographer.  :)

Jackson is 4!!!

I cannot believe it, but Jackson is 4!!!  How did that happen???  We celebrated on his birthday with presents and cake.  His birthday was a busy day full of soccer games, a Halloween party and Trunk or Treating!  He had a blast!
We had his party the day after his busy birthday, and we had one TIRED boy on our hands.  He wasn't giving out very many smiles, but he still had fun!  Here's most of the kids getting ready for their Samuri Training.  We had a Power Ranger party, and the kids had to complete an obstacle course (Samuri Training) in order to become honorary Power Rangers!
He just looks so excited, doesn't he?
Here he is looking thrilled again.  And, do you see what he's doing in the second picture???  Pretty sure he's trying to tell us something.  ;)

He's not looking at the camera here, but I can see that dimple, so I know he's smiling!
 Sort of smiling...
And here he is about 10 minutes after everyone left.  One tired 4 year old!

Pumpkin Patch!

We had a great time at the pumpkin patch!
Lost Boys in the corn maze.
  The cutest ghost EVER!
I'm obsessed with these cut out photo opportunities.  This year Dylan saw them and said, "Mom, don't forget that picture."  Like I'm going to forget son, but thanks for the reminder.  :)
 Barrel rides...don't they look thrilled?
Jackson, just hanging out on the rope ladder, contemplating life.  :)
These pictures of Trevor are hilarious.  He has some stories to tell!
