We hope everyone had a safe and exciting Halloween! It was perfect fall weather for trick or treating. I feel like it's usually rainy and gross out on Halloween. Dylan and I went to a few houses for trick or treating, but he wasn't very excited about it. I ended up pushing him in the stroller from door to door. He would give a very forced "Trick or Treat," followed by "Thank You." Maybe next year he'll be a little more excited about it. He's had a lot going on over the past few weeks! Our neighborhood really seems to enjoy Halloween. There were fire pits on every other driveway and everyone was out celebrating. We gave away four giant bags worth of candy. And, we had to turn our lights off before the trick or treating was done. We'll know better next year!
Our first stop of the evening was Mama & Papa's house. See how excited Dylan seems to be about Trick or Treating. We even had to force it at Mama & Papa's!
Dylan was so excited to show Jackson his old chair. Dylan used to love it as a baby, and he still loves it today! The chair entertained him for what seemed like hours. He would play with the choo choo then go back to the chair. He wanted to make sure it was still working for baby Jackson.
Here's a picture of Dylan dressed as Woody. He wasn't quite sure about it though...
My sweet little Jackson dressed in his pumpkin outfit.
and here he is in his Halloween shirt.
Here's a few pictures of the boys. Dylan was so excited to get to hold Jackson. He's had a cold since the baby was born, so we haven't really let him too close to the baby. He was feeling better though, so we braved it! Look how happy he is!
That night though, when they were all dressed up, Dylan did not want to sit by the baby. This was as close as we could get him. Most of the pictures we took were of Dylan trying to get away from the baby. We had to bribe him with some of his candy so he would sit still for the picture!
