Dylan's 4 year pictures

It sounds so cliche but, I can't believe he's 4! When did that happen??? He's such a happy little boy. He's always bringing smiles to my face and I am so grateful for him. I'm such a lucky mommy! Picture day was entertaining to say the least. He was definitely in a silly mood, and wasn't very willing to cooperate. For example, the photographer asked him to put his hands in his pocket so she could get the below picture. (We were at Picture People, in the front studio with the big window so everyone in the mall could see us.) He put his hands in his pocket and then pulled his pants down! Then he would pull them up so high. (like Urkel. How sad is it that he won't know Urkel???!!!) He did this a few times, yet somehow the photographer managed to get the shot. She was very patient. ;)

Jackson's 15 month pictures

As I'm scanning these pictures I realize...he wore that shirt in his 12 month pictures too! Oh well! Guess I really like that shirt! LOL
I love his eyelashes on this one.

Dylan is 4!

I cannot believe that Dylan turned 4! He is growing up so fast! We celebrated his birthday on the 4th with cake and a few gifts. He was so proud of himself for blowing all the candles out!
One of his favorite gifts...a Batmobile! He was SOOOO excited to have his birthday party. We've been talking about it for weeks! We rented the indoor playground at Riverchase, and the kids had a blast! Here's his best friends from school. I can't believe we got them all facing the same general direction. They're not all looking at my camera, but at least they are all looking!
Group hug. How cute!Singing Happy Birthday! The boys all had fruit punch mustaches, it was hilarious. After they ate their cupcakes they had icing mustaches too!Jackson having fun in the toddler area of the playground.Olivia and Evelyn looking beautiful as always. Papa and Jackson.

Snow Days!

We had a couple of snow days the first two days of February. I say snow days, but they were really ice days. We tried to make the best of it. I let Dylan fill up a bucket with snow and play inside! It was kind of like playing with white sand because it was little ice pellets. Dylan had fun, either way. It was too cold for Jackson to play with though, even inside. He much preferred watching Dylan play. :) Here's Dylan getting snow from the deck to fill up his bucket. He wouldn't look at the camera because the ice pellets were hitting his face. Hmmm, looking back I'm thinking I'm a mean mom!
He did go outside a little bit with Scott to build a snowman. We finally had good snowman snow! (At least that's our excuse as to why our snowmen have sucked until now! LOL)This one just makes me laugh. He was yelling at me through the window. I have no clue what he was saying b/c I was laughing so hard and trying to take a picture! Again...mean mommy.Jackson, hanging inside, enjoying the warmth. Ice on the trees and deck.
