Tummy Time!

Tonight all the boys were enjoying tummy time. I just thought it was sweet. Dylan was encouraging Baby Gackon to look up. :)
And it worked! Baby Gackon was lifting his head up. They grow up so fast!
Jackson looking sweet.

Park

Here's a few fun pics from the park! I just think this is a sweet picture. Scott and Dylan are heading towards the playground.

Dylan hasn't enjoyed the paparazzi (aka me) following him lately. But, I caught him smiling at me!

A close up of Jackson at the park.

Dylan's peeking through the stroller to check on Jackson.

2 Week Check Up

We had Jackson's 2 week check up yesterday. Everything is looking great! Jackson was born weighing in at 8 pounds 7 ounces, and was 8 pounds even when we left the hospital. On his 5 day check up he was 8 pounds 4 ounces. Now he is 9 pounds 9 ounces! I think it's safe to say he's a good eater!
Here's a cute story about Dylan. Jackson was crying while the doctor was examining him, and Dylan was very worried. I tried to explain to Dylan that it was okay and the doctor was just making sure baby Jackson was healthy and strong. Dylan stopped me and said "Not okay mommy, Baby Gackon cry." He was so worried about his baby Gackon...it was so sweet! He is already proving to be a fabulous big brother!

Happy Halloween!

We hope everyone had a safe and exciting Halloween! It was perfect fall weather for trick or treating. I feel like it's usually rainy and gross out on Halloween. Dylan and I went to a few houses for trick or treating, but he wasn't very excited about it. I ended up pushing him in the stroller from door to door. He would give a very forced "Trick or Treat," followed by "Thank You." Maybe next year he'll be a little more excited about it. He's had a lot going on over the past few weeks! Our neighborhood really seems to enjoy Halloween. There were fire pits on every other driveway and everyone was out celebrating. We gave away four giant bags worth of candy. And, we had to turn our lights off before the trick or treating was done. We'll know better next year!
Our first stop of the evening was Mama & Papa's house. See how excited Dylan seems to be about Trick or Treating. We even had to force it at Mama & Papa's!
Dylan was so excited to show Jackson his old chair. Dylan used to love it as a baby, and he still loves it today! The chair entertained him for what seemed like hours. He would play with the choo choo then go back to the chair. He wanted to make sure it was still working for baby Jackson.

Here's a picture of Dylan dressed as Woody. He wasn't quite sure about it though...

My sweet little Jackson dressed in his pumpkin outfit.

and here he is in his Halloween shirt.

Here's a few pictures of the boys. Dylan was so excited to get to hold Jackson. He's had a cold since the baby was born, so we haven't really let him too close to the baby. He was feeling better though, so we braved it! Look how happy he is!

That night though, when they were all dressed up, Dylan did not want to sit by the baby. This was as close as we could get him. Most of the pictures we took were of Dylan trying to get away from the baby. We had to bribe him with some of his candy so he would sit still for the picture!

Jackson is all Smiles!

Finally! One of my boys has one of my features. Dylan looks just like his dad, and Jackson is definitely going to have Scott's blue eyes. But, check out this smile. (Who says babies don't smile until they are 3 months???) He has at least one of my dimples!

Brotherly Love

Here's a few cute pictures of my boys. I love this picture....it looks like Jackson is talking to Dylan. I think Dylan is concentrating on counting his toes!
Giving kisses.
Giving even more kisses.
I love this one too. Apparently something was funny!

Just admiring each other. Very sweet.

Boo at the Zoo!

Last Saturday Scott, Dylan, Jon & Olivia went to Boo at the Zoo while Heidi, Evie, Jackson and I relaxed at home. Scott said the kids had fun at the zoo...when they were looking at animals and getting candy. I think the lines tested the patience in all of them. :) Heidi and I had a great time at Evie and Jackson's first play date! Here's Dylan...oh, I mean Woody.

Livvie the ladybug!

Don't they just look so thrilled???

Jackson & Evie's first play date. Evie is 3 months older than Jackson...they grow so quickly! She looks huge next to him!

Sweet baby Jackson.
