Lake with Pfeuffer's!

We were so excited to have the Pfeuffer family join us at the lake for a weekend.  It was fun to watch Layton and Braden experience a lot of firsts.  First boat ride, first time fishing and more!  All the boys (and the adults!) were exhausted by the end of the weekend!  Here's cowboy Jackson enjoying breakfast.
Dylan swimming all by himself....no noodles!  He was so proud of himself, as he should be!
Check out Jackson and Layton swimming together!
Jackson relaxin'.  This is the life.
 Jake and Braden!
 Meg and Layton!

Jackson reeled the fish in all by himself.  He was one proud little boy!

Latyon was proud of his fish too!

Grant's Farm!

We joined Eric, Julie, Drew, Emily and Katelyn at Grant's Farm on Sunday morning.  The kids had a blast hanging out with each other.  Here we are feeding the goats.
Dylan and Jackson weren't scared of the goats at all.  In fact, Jackson was laughing almost the whole time he was in there.  If you've ever been to Grant's Farm, you know these goats can be pretty aggressive.  I was really impressed with Jackson!  Here he is laughing at a goat.

Feeding the goats.  What you can't tell is that the whole time he was feeding them he was walking backwards, so they wouldn't jump on him.  Smart kid, right? ...until he got pinned to the fence!
but even pinned to the fence he was laughing.  He's so brave!

Emily was the smartest one...she stuck to feeding the goats from the outside of the fence!
The carousel clan!

 Total Sweetness.

Having more fun feeding the animals.

    Hi Emily!
 SMURFS!
I can't believe I got a smile on camera!  I think Dylan took this picture, actually.  Maybe that's the key...
Miss Katelyn.  Soaking in all these crazy kids!

Missouri Botanical Gardens

Saturday morning we headed to Missouri Botanical Gardens!  I've been super excited to see the Chinese lantern display.  Now that we've been, I can't wait to see it at night, all lit up!  We spent the first couple of hours in the children's area.  The boys loved the slides, tree house, splash pad, and much more!  Then we walked around and checked out the cool lanterns.  Dylan liked that there were so many dragons!

The white dragon below is made out of plates. Crazy!  The colorful dragon below is made out of glass pieces.
