Graduation!

Dylan's a preschool graduate!  All week they were getting ready for the big graduation day.  The theme was Hollywood.  Here is Dylan with his teacher, Ms. Nikki.

 When we first got there, someone was a little crabby.  I'm not naming names...but one kid doesn't look happy.  Dylan's friend Jacob is all smiles!

Dylan walking up to receive his award.  He was recognized for the longest goodbye in the morning.  Yes, we do 21 hugs and kisses and we drive around the parking lot 2 times, waving to him as we pass the classroom window.  It may be long, but it works.  And (I keep telling myself) it gets him to practice counting to 21!  I'm not really sure how we got to that routine though.

 Every kid came up to the front after they received their award to say a quick thanks.  Dylan said "Thanks Mom and Dad!"  He was so nervous and cute!

Haarmann Weekend at the Lake!

Every year we dedicate one weekend to spend at the lake with all of Scott's family, including David.  Every other weekend that David is at the lake he stays at a friends house...I don't think he likes the early alarm clocks that are his dear nieces and nephews.  :)  This year we went on Mother's Day weekend.  It was a little too chilly to go swimming, which was fine because the boys were SO excited to go fishing!  Dylan's so good at it too.  Here he is reeling in a catfish!

 Papa got an owl for Christmas.  There's a joke somewhere, but I'm not sure what it is.  Regardless, Jackson loved the owl.  He was even kissing it!

Fun times in May!

We've had a very busy spring so far, and we're loving it!  The boys helped Scott plant some veggies & spices outside.  Hopefully we'll have some good tomatoes and cilantro soon! 

Since it was so hot out, we decided to run through the sprinklers!  Dylan had a blast with it...

and quickly decided he'd rather cheer for Dylan as he ran through the sprinklers!  He kept yelling, "Go D!"

 

Game night!  Who doesn't love Hungry Hungry Hippos?  I love that Jackson has dimples...I can tell he has a huge smile even though I can't see his face.

Cinco de Derby!

We headed over to our friends house to celebrate Cinco de Derby.  (since the Derby was on Cinco de Mayo, get it???)  We watched the race, lost some money and did some tequila shots! Steve and Scott took the kids for a ride in the fiat...before they did shots.  :) 

Scott does one tequila shot a year.  He aims to do it every Cinco de Mayo.  Steve was a trooper and did it with him.  Cheers!
