T-Ball!

Dylan had his first t-ball game this morning. He had so much fun with it! He plays with a few of his best friends, Grant, Jacob and Bryson, from school and is always so excited to see them. They play three innings. Each kid hits the ball and then runs to first base. They progress through the bases with each batter. The last kid to bat gets to hit a grand slam, so all the kids get to run the bases. Then everyone gets to field. They are being taught to get the ball and throw to first base. No outs and no score keeping. I think it's a great way to teach the basics and assure the kids feel great about the game and themselves. It's so fun! Dylan was concentrating on his swing...I can tell because he is sticking his tongue out, just like his father. LOL
So excited to tag home plate.Throwing to first base. The boys. Bryson, Grant, Dylan and Jacob.Dylan had a lot of fans today. Mama, Mimi and Alexis all came to watch him play. Here's Jackson dragging Alexis along! Too cute!

Happy Easter!

We had a great day of Easter egg hunts, yummy food, and fabulous family and friends. Happy Easter everyone! Jackson found some candy in his egg!
Making a funny faceDylan taught Jackson how to put his money in his piggy bank. And he saved some money himself! He's excited to save enough to buy a toy, any toy!On an egg hunt at Haarmann Easter. All the Haarmann kids. (well, the younger ones anyways)Jackson loving on my dad's dog, Lu. Lu has so much patience and just lets Jackson tug and climb on her..

Annual dinner and egg dying

We had all the Haarmann's over on Good Friday for dinner and egg dying. The kids always have so much fun with it. This year I decided to do a few crafts with our desserts too. (My attempt at being Martha Stewart.) I think they turned out cute. The silverware is supposed to look like carrots. The pudding cups were a nest and a basket. And I made a rice krispie treat nest. :)
Dylan showing me his nest. He said he would only smile for ONE picture. Olivia's nest.
Evelyn did not like dye on her hands at all.
Jackson had so much fun dying eggs. I thought he was too little to care, but he proved me wrong. Just more proof that they grow up so fast.
If the tongue is sticking out, you know there is some serious concentration going on.
Kathy and Terry with all their grandkids.
Tired girls.

Jackson's 1st Cardinals Game!

We tried to get Jackson to a Cardinal game last year, but he was sick every single time so he never made it. He finally made it, and he had a blast! He enjoyed cheering when everyone else cheered and scooting back and forth on the chairs. They were like mini slides! Dylan had fun too and was starting to really understand what was going on.
The boys had a blast checking out what was going on behind the stadium too. We saw a few trains that were apparently much more interesting than the game.
I told Dylan he was not in this picture...sneaky mommy. :)
Having fun sliding back and forth on the chair.

Jackson's first hair cut!

Jackson's teacher said "You took the baby right out of him!" He looks so much more grown up with his new hair cut. I was sad to see the crazy curls go, but it was time. He's so sweet.
Jackson sweats a lot, just like Dylan and Scott. (Boys are gross!) Here's a fun picture of Jackson when his hair was all sweaty and sticking up. It makes me laugh. ;)I just think he looks sweet here.

Big Boy Bikes!

Dylan was so excited to finally get outside and ride the bike that Santa bought him. Unfortunately Santa couldn't get a helmet without knowing how big Dylan's head was. So after a couple days of riding circles on the driveway, Dylan convinced me it was time to go buy a helmet. He is so cute in his helmet too! He's so excited to ride his bike on the sidewalk everyday now. We go the end of the street and back. He does so well with it.
Jackson was excited to take his turn on Dylan's old bike. He can't reach the pedals yet. He kind of walks/rides on the bike. It's adorable.Learning to blow bubbles. :)
