Coming in for the kill!

Dylan's new thing is throwing his arms out and running at me for a hug. It's the cutest thing ever...I mean, who can resist that face?!?!? It's possible that he thinks he's tackling me, because we always 'fall' to the ground...but I like to think it's a great big hug! I always put my arms out like that when I ask him for a hug, so that's where he picked up the arm thing. Maybe it's a little bit of both! A tackle hug! Whatever it is, I'll take it!

P.S. Don't you love the outfit? Daddy got him ready for swim lessons and this is what they came out in. :)

Happy Birthday Emaline!

Our friend, Emaline, turned 2 last week. We helped her celebrate this weekend. Dylan enjoyed himself in the bouncy house & the sandbox. He worked up quite an appetite and dug into the cupcake like a champ!

Here's a picture of the birthday girl after a long day of slaving in the kitchen! Somebody had to get everything ready for the party!

Isn't this how everyone eats breakfast?

Eggs & Sausage? Check. Milk? Check. Chillin' on the couch watching TV? Check. No pants? Check. This is the life.

Summer is coming to an end!

We're so sad that summer is almost over. I'm trying to get some pictures of him in some of my favorite summer outfits. I LOVED these shorts, but they were too big for him all summer. I was hoping maybe they would fit him now, but they were still saggy. He wore them around the house for me so I could get a picture! What a champ!

Eckerts

We drove out to Eckerts yesterday to do some apple picking. We went to the one in Millstadt. They have a lot of things for kids to enjoy...if they take their naps! Here's Dylan on his first ride...it's hard to see it, but he was NOT happy!

Here's a family picture of us in the orchard! Apparently Dylan felt like showing his belly!

Grants Farm with Aunt Julie & Uncle Eric!

Aunt Julie 'borrowed' her sister's kids, Aly and Kyle, for the day and we took them all to Grant's Farm! It was perfect weather and they had so much fun! Here is a picture of everyone on the tram.

I think this picture is hilarious! It looks like the camel in kissing Dylan! He's actually standing behind us, no where near Dylan!

Worms...Gross!

Dylan had a blast with the worms! He was flinging them around everywhere and trying to get me with them. Gross!

Labor Day Weekend at the Lake

What a fun weekend! Dylan discovered many things: worms, swimming in the lake, and a new word, "Mine!" He was very aware of Olivia's presence. He didn't like sharing his toys, his mommy, or Grandma and Papa! Have you ever seen a 19 month old cast a dirty look? He mastered it this weekend, that's for sure! Now that Olivia is getting older we'll have to play with her more often so he learns to be friends with her!!!

Dylan was a little timid getting in the lake at first, but once he was in he loved it! He was putting his face in the water and kicking his little legs. He was very brave, and I was very proud. We start swimming lessons next weekend...I think he'll do great! Here's Scott & Dylan splashing the water at me.

Here's the family in the lake.
Here's Jon, Heidi and Olivia hanging out in the shade!
Papa and Grandma have a worm video and some pictures of Dylan fishing for the first time that are great! He is such a boy. I'll share them as soon as they are shared with me! (hint hint Kathy & Terry!!!)

I'm off to watch the premier of 90210-2. I'm not sure what to expect, but I can't just not watch it!
