Kindergarten!

I can't believe we already had to do it, but we are officially registered for Kindergarten! Dylan will be attending St. Paul's and is so excited. He really liked the gym and the playground. He's such a boy! His best buddy, Grant, will be attending St. Paul's with him. Here they are together at registration. Wouldn't it be so cute to put this in a frame, right next to their graduation picture, many years from now?! The picture is a little blurry, but I still love it!

Dylan's Birthday Pictures!

Here are the picture we got taken at Target on Dylan's 5th birthday! I love the one with his head tilted and his foot sticking out. Talk about attitude!

Dylan is 5!

I cannot believe my baby is 5 years old! He is so excited to be celebrating his birthday this weekend. We started by taking cupcakes to school on Friday. He was so excited to share them with the kids in his class. Saturday morning around 5:15, Dylan came in to wake me up saying there was something in his room. I knew he would be surprised...but not at 5:15 in the morning! There were balloons covering his floor! I convinced him to go back to sleep and that we would play with the balloons once the sun came up. And play we did! The boys had fun running down the hallway and jumping or sliding into the balloons!
Saturday afternoon Dylan had a bowling birthday party. He had never been bowling before, but he was super excited to go. Here's Papa helping Dylan bowl for the very first time. That hill thing and the bumpers really helped all the kids put up some good numbers!
Jackson got really into it too. That child has no fear! We're very lucky that no one got their fingers smashed.Singing Happy Birthday! Dylan was very particular about his cake. He explained to me the he wanted Spiderman with vanilla icing, red on the sides, and chocolate on the inside. He was very happy with the outcome!
