We had a great time celebrating Olivia's 4th birthday with her. I can't believe she is already 4 years old! She was so excited about her cake...she requested a carrot cake! What 4 year old wants a carrot cake? Too funny! It was delicious though!
Singing happy birthday.
Not sure if she was blowing the candles out or kissing the cake. LOL
Papa and all his grand kids.
Happy Birthday Olivia!

Happy 5th Birthday Grant!
Yesterday we helped one of Dylan's best buddies celebrate his birthday at Bounce U! We've been to parties at Bounce U before, but this one was different. It was Cosmic Bouncing! When Dylan talks about it he says "They turn the lights off and play really loud dance music!" Both boys had so much fun. They'll sleep well tonight! Here's some slide action.
So many crazy boys trying to climb the wall.
Jackson was so happy he was invited to the party too!
All the kids at the party. Most of them were from Dylan's school.
And some were in the middle of a melt down, so they didn't make the picture...

MMA Fight
So, I might be a bad parent for this, but we took our boys to an MMA fight. That's mixed martial arts. (We were invited by one of Dylan's friends) These fights can be brutal from what I understand. Luckily we left before any of the bad fights occurred. Here are the boys checking everything out.
The ring.
Color Guard
Jackson's favorite part was the popcorn!
Grant and John watching the fight.
During the fights, I asked Dylan what his favorite part was. He said "The girls (the ring girls) because they are in their underwear." Seriously. He's 4. Does it really start this young? Oh my goodness!

Snow!
Dylan has been waiting and waiting for it to snow. In fact, when we took the Christmas tree down, he cried because he didn't even get to build a snowman yet. He associated Christmas with snow (maybe because we got snow on Christmas Eve last year?) Regardless, I explained that it can still snow, and he's been waiting ever since. Jackson was not a fan. He just kept saying "No, no, no." So, Dylan and I had to wait until nap time to go outside to play.
Making snow angels. He thought they were so fun to make.Practicing our letters.Unfortunately it wasn't very good snow to make a snowman, so we're hoping for more snow this winter. Maybe just one more, really go snowman making snow. :)
