Cars!

Today we woke up bright and early and headed to the Transportation Museum to see Lightning McQueen and Mater! There was also a new character there, Finn something , that will be in Cars 2, which comes out this summer. (I think June.) Dylan had fun, but he was more interested in the trains than in the Cars exhibit. We'll have to go back there when it's warm out and check out all the trains.

Creative Boys!

We have lots of Lego's and all sorts of blocks to play with. But the best tower building happens from the items in the pantry! I don't even know why I buy toys. ;)
Dylan is not going to let this spring snow slow him down. He is practicing his fishing no matter what!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hope everyone had a fabulous green day!
Jackson was so proud he put his necklace on all by himself!Hilarious!
Dylan: Mom I wanna eat. Can I have a green Christmas tree?
Me: What do you want to eat? (emphasis on what???)
Dylan: A green Christmas tree. Like we had the other one night. (meaning last night)
Me: We didn't eat any green Christmas trees Dylan. You have to show me what your talking about.
OH! A green rice krispie treat! LOL

Random fun pics

We've been enjoying the warmer weather and playing outside a little bit. It's so fun to watch the boys actually play with each other. They get along great so far, which is fabulous. I'm so not looking forward to the days when they don't get along...I'm hoping those days never visit the Haarmann house. (that could happen, right???) Dylan was having a blast pushing Jackson around in the car. Check out Jackson's face too...I think he was having fun as well!

What??? I'm just mowing the driveway...
Bubble Time!
Practicing his fishing...he's so excited to go to the lake this year. Watch out Papa, he's going to be ready!
So exhausted. And, a little bit funny. :)

St. Patrick's Day Parade!

Saturday was beautiful outside, so we headed down to the St. Patrick's Day parade. Dylan was disappointed at first...he kept asking me when we were going to see Patrick. He thought it was his friend Patrick's birthday party. Too funny. He cheered up though, when we found Mama and Papa! Luckily they got great front row seats so the boys could see everything!

Grossology!

A few weeks ago we took the boys to the Grossology exhibit at the Science Center. Scott and I had not been since high school, so I was interested to see what the Science Center was all about these days. We only visited the new section (which isn't so new anymore!) but there was lots to see. The boys had a great time. (Although when we left Dylan said he didn't have fun...he was also hungry and tired which equals crabby!) The Grossology exhibit is all about bodily functions and what causes them...burping, snot, farting, body odor, smelly feet...you name it, they discussed it. I figured it was right up the boys alley! The favorite part of the exhibit was shooting snot balls into the nostrils...
Here are the nostrils they were aiming for.We were playing a huge game of Operation.
Boys playing the stringless harp.
Jackson was so excited he got a turn! The big dinosaur.
