What a whirlwind!

We had such a wonderful time with everyone this holiday season. We're so lucky to have such great family and friends to celebrate with! Every year I like to put all of the new goodies under the tree as a reminder of lucky we really are. Look at all this new and fabulous stuff!
Dylan didn't want to cooperate with taking pictures at first, but then he decided it was time to be my model, and made me take lots of pictures!
This one kind of reminds me of a "Where's Waldo."

Jackson is walking!

Jackson has finally decided that walking is fun! If he could, I think he would walk back and forth from me to Scott all day long. He is just so proud of himself, which is super cute. Here are some fun pictures we got of him practicing!

Ice Carnival

Yesterday we braved the cold weather and headed down to the Ice Carnival. We've never been, so we weren't sure what to expect. I was a little worried that it was more geared towards an adult crowd, but luckily they had lots of stuff for kids too! One of Dylan's favorite things was throwing the ice cubes. 18 stores on the loop had coolers full of ice cubes. Each ice cube had either a chocolate coin or a real dollar coin. You had to pick an ice cube from the cooler, without peaking, then go outside and break the ice cube on the ground to see if you got candy or money. Dylan had so much fun breaking his ice cubes by throwing them as hard as he could on the ground!
Some other highlights were slides made of ice, fun ice sculptures and ice putt putt golf! The family with Frosty the Iceman!Making smores.

Happy New Years!

We hope everyone had a safe and happy new years celebration. We had a great time with great friends! Here's our group shot...Jackson and Wade were the only ones kids that didn't make it to midnight, so they didn't make the picture. I'm surprised they were able to sleep with all the craziness going on downstairs!
