Fall Fabulous!

I am LOVING this fall. The weather has been great, and fall activities are so fun! After Dylan's soccer game today, Dylan and I spent a little bit of time in the park. (Scott took Jackson home for his nap.) Dylan actually let me play photographer, AND I think he secretly like it! Check out the way he's posing by the tree! LOL!
After Jackson's nap I took a few pictures of him as well. Dylan, of course, had to join too. :)
The boys are laughing at Scott, which is why they are looking up instead of at the camera. I think it's fun!

Last Soccer Game

It was an interesting season to say the least. Dylan started out strong, and was excited to play, but then decided he was done. We would try to talk to him about playing in the game all week, and he would be excited to play. Then on the way to the game he would start telling us he didn't want to play. And, he wouldn't. The coaches drug him out there a few times, but he would cry so much they let him come back to sit with us. At one point one of the coaches literally picked up Dylan's leg and swung it for him, so he could kick the ball. He is so stubborn! (don't know where he gets that from! LOL!) Maybe next year???!!! He did play goalie today though, so that was great! He said he wanted to pick the ball up, so maybe goalie is his position. :)
Taking the full back kick. After the game, the coaches handed out trophies to all the boys! I'm not sure if the league provided the trophies or if they had them made up, but either way it was a nice touch. My baby got his first trophy! I'm so proud of him (even if he refused to play half the season!!!) (On a side note there was another little boy that refused to play the first game or so, and they just stopped coming...so at least we kept showing up! I just kept hoping that he would change his mind!) Coach Scott and Coach Jason did a great job with the boys. If we play again next season, I hope we get them as coaches again! Here's Dylan giving his coaches high fives!
And, getting his trophy from the coach's assistants. :)Jackson cheering his brother on!

Carving Pumpkins

Last night we carved our pumpkins. Dylan wanted to do a happy face. (I have no idea where he gets that from!) :) He had fun digging the goo out, as long as he didn't get a lot on his hands...he didn't want to get messy! LOL. So, he used a big spoon to get all the seeds out...
Here he is carving the pumpkin. Actually, I was already done carving it. He kept putting the pieces back together like a puzzle and then pretending to carve it himself. :) Jackson wasn't too sure what to think about the orange stuff...The boys after we were done with our happy face pumpkin. Pumpkins!

This past weekend we went to the pumpkin patch with our friends, the Brueckmann's. It was perfect fall weather! Dylan was so excited about the playground, and the choo choo! Jackson just kind of hung out...he was a sleepy little boy. :)

My little pumpkins. Hopefully one day I'll get this picture when they are both looking at the camera and smiling...at the same time!We ran into the Chambers family while we there. Fun surprise!
After the pumpkin patch we went out to Eureka to visit our friend's new house. Angi and Jeremy built a beautiful house in the Ashton Woods subdivision. They had pumpkins for the kids to decorate, and a bouncy house. Dylan was in heaven! Here he is concentrating on getting a sticker to put on his pumpkin.
The finished product. Giving me a high five through the bouncy house!

Eckerts

A couple of weeks ago we went to Eckerts with the Haarmanns and the Kreitzingers. Dylan was excited to ride the rides and pick the apples, but was not thrilled about taking pictures. Here's our family picture. He wouldn't stand with us, so we got him in the background. That counts, right?
Here's Heidi, Olivia, Scott and Dylan feeding the camel. Apparently Jon and I were both taking this picture!

Happy Birthday Baby Gackon!!!

I cannot believe my baby boy is one year old already! I'm so proud, excited, happy and sad all at the same time. We celebrated his b-day this past weekend with fabulous friends and family. Jackson LOVED his cake. He dug right in. There was no hesitation at all! That's my boy! Look how serious he is about going in for another bite!
The blue icing matching his blue eyes. Jackson and Dylan had fun opening the gifts the morning after the party. Dylan definitely tested his patience while waiting for Jackson to open them! They both did great though, and Jackson got a ton of great gifts. Dylan loves the gifts too...in fact he's been sleeping with one of them! LOL! Thank you everyone! Tags are the best thing ever!It was a fun weekend! Happy Birthday Baby Gackon. We love you!

Rated PG-13!!!

Just some cute pictures of Jackson and Dylan. :) Jackson loves taking baths. Here he is waiting very patiently for the tub to fill with water.
I gave Jackson his first taste of cookie cake. The piece I gave him was about the size of a quarter, but apparently it had a lot of frosting! Either that or he is REALLY good at making a mess.
Careful, Buzz is shooting you with his laser! We're just a little excited for Halloween. :)
